King For A Day '10
January 16, 2010

RochesterCares wshes to thank our VIP Sponsor, The Home Depot Foundation, for their generous support and participation in our annual King For A Day event!

KFAD '10 is a rewarding morning of volunteering and community service dedicated to the giving spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. A variety of volunteer projects will be occurring simultaneously around Rochester, including food sorting, recycling cartridges, sorting donated books, games with the elderly, and much more. A welcome breakfast will kick off the event, followed by volunteer projects at multiple agencies, and a "thank you" reception for volunteers, sponsors and organizers.

Registered volunteers are asked to meet at the Stardust Ballroom in the Edgerton Community Center located at 41 Backus St, Roch, 14608 at 8:30 AM. Then teams of volunteers will head out to their respective projects and later return to the Stardust Ballroom for post-project celebratory luncheon!
